Position Overview
As a Key Accounts Executive – Mainstream & Key Account Channel, you will drive sales and enhance product visibility in major retail accounts through direct store delivery (DSD) and in-store merchandising. This full-time, permanent role combines fieldwork, relationship management, and strategic execution, ideal for a proactive individual thriving in a fast-paced retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities:

Account Execution & Sales

  • Perform direct store delivery (DSD) to assigned retail locations within the GTA.
  • Optimize store-level sales by managing inventory, shelf presence, and promotional execution.
  • Identify and implement strategies to increase sales volume and market share.

Merchandising & Store Engagement

  • Merchandise products according to brand standards and planograms.
  • Build strong relationships with store managers, department heads, and key decision-makers.
  • Ensure point-of-sale (POS) materials, displays, and secondary placements meet standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked shelves and displays.

Retailer Relations & Communication

  • Act as the company’s representative in key account locations, fostering trust with store personnel.
  • Provide market and customer insights to internal teams (Marketing, Operations, Sales).
  • Address store-level issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Administrative Duties

  • Track deliveries, returns, and inventory levels using internal systems.
  • Submit store visit reports and maintain detailed records of customer interactions.
  • Analyze performance metrics and propose data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–3 years in retail sales, merchandising, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) within key account channels; experience with retailers like Walmart, Loblaws, or Sobeys is highly preferred.
  • Education: Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Familiarity with DSD operations is a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain in-store relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable with the physical demands of merchandising and delivery.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) is an advantage.
  • Other: Fluency in Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic is an asset but not required.

Other Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move cases of product (up to 40 lbs).
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for early mornings, some evenings, or weekends as needed.
