AGP Profilers Pte Ltd, a boutique recruitment agency in Singapore, has tasked by a real estate agency to source for a highly experienced and qualified Key Executive Officer (KEO).

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the real estate industry. Candidates must meet the mandatory licensing criteria set by the CEA.

MANDATORY CEA REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: A minimum of four GCE ’O’ Level passes or equivalent.
  • CEA License: Possess a valid Real Estate Agency (REA) examination pass (or equivalent qualification) obtained within two years of applying for a license.
  • Experience:
  • At least 3 years of experience in estate agency work.
  • Have concluded a minimum of 30 transactions in the last three years, or have at least three years of experience in a management capacity within a licensed estate agency.
    Registration Status: Must not be registered as a sole-proprietor, KEO, practising director, partner, or salesperson of another licensed estate agent
    CEA “Fit and Proper” Criteria:
    Applicants must satisfy the “fit and proper” criteria, which includes having no history of fraud, dishonesty, or being an undischarged bankrupt.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven track record of successful sales and rental transactions.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

As the KEO, you will be the cornerstone of the agency’s success. You’ll be responsible for the overall management of the business and its salespersons, ensuring strict compliance with the Estate Agents Act and all related regulations. This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic oversight and active participation in estate agency work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership & Management: Administering and managing the business while supervising a team of real estate salespersons (RESs).
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensuring the agency’s adherence to all CEA regulations and implementing Standard Operating Procedures for training, complaints handling, and advertising.
  • Sales & Business Development: Actively performing the duties of a Real Estate Salesperson, including handling sales and rental transactions.
  • Professional Development: Upholding high service standards and ensuring all RESs comply with their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
