THE OPPORTUNITY

BlueScope Distribution is looking for a Key Market Account Manager to join our Westall sales team in Clayton South. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.
In this customer-facing opportunity, you will nurture, grow and strengthen relationships with our key customers, now and for the future. While developing sales strategies you will ensure profitable growth of revenue, margin and market share for our business with a key focus on the Sheet and Coil markets.

Responsibilities

Based in out of the Clayton South office, you will be out on the road visiting new and existing customers on a regular basis, covering the Melbourne metro market. You will:

  • continue to strengthen partnerships with our existing customers and identify further service improvement and growth opportunities with a focus on sheet & coil products
  • identify new customers through building sustainable relationships with key stakeholders - including industry bodies and specialists
  • develop and execute targeted call cycles and account strategies aligning to business objectives, individual customer requirements and market conditions
  • work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to resolve customer queries and deliver an exceptional service
