We’re on the lookout for a Keyholder to join our fantastic Edinburgh Store Team. As a key holder for the store, you will support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in driving sales and providing world class customer service. You will love being on the shop floor with our customers, whilst sharing your knowledge of the outdoors, advising on the best kit for the adventures they are going on and sharing the best of the local area. A passion for the great outdoors is a must!
The role will involve being responsible for opening and closing the store when the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager are absent and assisting with deliveries, shipping orders and merchandising the store.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong sales management skills with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in supervising teams.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient phone etiquette for handling customer calls and inquiries professionally.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring staff are attentive and responsive to customer needs.
  • Manage inventory levels, including stock replenishment and merchandising displays.
