The Role: As the Operational Excellence Coach you will pursue and deliver Operational Excellence to the Operations Leadership Team and across KFC operations, through indirect and direct leadership of the field team and through managing effective relationships with internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring that training, development, bench, and talent management plans are created and implemented for each store, in conjunction with Restaurant General Managers and Area Managers. Where required, this role will see you provide direct coaching, training, and mentoring of restaurant supervisory and management employees in centralised and field locations, including delivery of training to employee groups related to performance and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Delivery of training - conduct training and development needs analysis and oversee/conduct associated remedial and refresher training People plans – Develop and assist with instore implementation of training, development, succession and talent management, conduct analysis of training certification and compliance. Career development and progression – Identification and development of team members for promotion to Assistant Restaurant or Restaurant Manager role. Compliance Management and reporting – complete timely quality reporting of relevant training programme completion, certification achievement, and ensuring all new employees have been provided and completed applicable training within set timeframes, analysis of L&D reporting to understand key trends and opportunities and elevating areas of concern. Audit and Compliance – ensure all KFC team members/ARM/RMs comply with operational standards and conduct regular audits and evaluations, troubleshooting operational issues to identify root causes and providing coaching assistance to fix performance gaps What you will bring to the role: 3+ years’ experience at Restaurant Manager level preferably from a multi-site QSR fast paced environment. Proven operational and procedural knowledge. A back-story of leading, coaching and mentoring large numbers of staff to successful outcomes. A charismatic influencer with a passion for delivering results and bringing your people on a journey with you. The ability and willingness to travel – a full clean driver’s license is a prerequisite.
