As a Shift Manager, job duties include, but are unlimited to:

  • Willing to work a position on the floor while coaching team members to achieve daily KPIs.
  • Supervise, motivate, and train team members; provide input to the Assistant Manager or Manager when performance issues arise.
  • Ensure team members deliver the highest possible level of customer satisfaction through service and product quality.
  • Assist team members with tasks as needed to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure team members properly execute current promotions and new products during the shift.
  • Ensure team member uniforms and appearances are neat, professional, and meet company standards at all times.
  • Ensure proper staffing and deployment throughout the shift to match business needs.
  • Monitor and maintain correct inventory levels (product & supplies), notifying management when levels are low.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Act, local health and safety codes, and corporate safety/security policies.
  • Assist in the training of new team members.
  • Ensure effective communication during shift change.
  • Perform all other management duties as assigned.
