PROGRAM FACILITATOR IN KFL&A

Contract Start Date: September 9, 2025
Contract End Date: June 26, 2026 (with possibility of extension)
Schedule: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Wage: $22.30 per hour
We are currently seeking one (1) new team member in KFL&A to facilitate Girls
Inc. programs for girls+ in grades 1 to 12.
Girls inc. Limestone is a non-profit, registered charitable organization devoted to
supporting the needs and interests of girls+ and young women+ across four
counties in the greater Kingston and Belleville, Ontario communities. We offer a
comprehensive approach that addresses all aspects of a girl’s life. This includes
preparing girls to achieve academically, to be economically independent, and to

Girls Inc. Facilitators work together with a Girls Inc. Program Coordinator to plan,
prepare, and deliver Girls Inc. programming during and after school.
The successful applicant will be an energetic, team-oriented facilitator who enjoys
working in large groups of children and youth.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Successful completion of a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) check including a Vulnerable Sector Check is required
  • A completed Ontario Secondary School Diploma and current enrollment in or completion of post-secondary education is required
  • Preference will be given to current students or graduates in related fields of study including Child and Youth Care, Recreation Leadership, Therapeutic Recreation, Social Service Worker, Social Work, Behavioural Science, and Teacher’s College
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification is required
  • Prior experience working with children is required
  • Access to own transportation is required to travel to and from program locations and transport supplies
  • High Five certification or equivalent is an asset. Applicants with similar international certifications/credentials are also encouraged to apply
