Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status or Certification in respective country (with attestation and equivalency)
- MOE Approval
- Degree and relevant Post Graduate qualification.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibility 1: Quality of learning
- Ensure understanding of the school’s definition of learning and demonstrate a determined focus on ‘amazing learning’ in lessons.
- Use learning observation tools (Looking for Learning) to identify learning and plan lessons accordingly.
- Contribute fully to the Amazing Learning principles by sharing examples of amazing learning.
- Link findings in learning to student progress using AfL data and summative data.
- Identify gaps in learning and take measures to close them.
- Plan innovative learning experiences focusing on knowledge, skills, and understanding.
- Ensure high-level questioning and student engagement.
Key Responsibility 2: Conditions for learning
- Understand factors affecting learning and build positive relationships with students and parents.
- Observe conditions for learning in colleagues’ lessons, share ideas, and create a safe classroom environment.
- Follow the display and environment policy to ensure visible learning.
Key Responsibility 3: Developing Learning in and beyond my classroom
- Provide clear, honest, and balanced feedback to students.
- Guide and support students through various learning situations and activities.
- Celebrate learning and share examples of amazing learning with other classes.
Key Responsibility 4: Evaluating learning
- Provide mechanisms for students to discuss and evaluate their learning.
- Use AfL policy and Classroom Monitor to track students’ learning.
- Reflect on learning in lessons and receive feedback from colleagues.
Key Responsibility 5: Evaluating curriculum and its assessment
- Contribute to curriculum review and suggest modifications based on learning data.
- Provide guidance to colleagues in areas of high confidence and expertise.
Key Responsibility 6: Professional Development
- Evaluate own skills using the Hattie teacher competencies framework.
- Work closely with other teachers and leaders to generate peer professional development programs.
