KIDCREATE | KIDS ARTS & CRAFTS TEACHER

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join KidCREATE as a Kids Arts & Crafts Teacher in Dublin 15. Candidate must be living in Dublin 15 or an area close by. A full driving licence and having your own car is essential for this role.
This role involves delivering fun, creative, arts and crafts classes to primary school aged children. The individual must collect supplies, transport them to the location, prepare the class, supplies and materials to lead the group of children through the class.
KidCREATE classes will be on weekday afternoons in the Castleknock/Carpenterstown area. The work is based around the primary school calendars and work is in term blocks. Hours will vary between 4 to 10 hours per week. Dates will be given in advance and a schedule will be agreed. Role will begin from late August.
This is a great opportunity for teachers or trainee teachers, special needs assistants, early childhood experts and professionals/students with a creative or artistic background.

Responsibilities
  • Experience working with young children
  • A qualification in Education or Art. College students in these areas of education should also apply. If you are skilled in Arts & Crafts please also apply.
  • Having your own car with full licence and insurance is essential.
  • You will need to be responsible for collection, storing and drop off of supplies and based in Dublin 15 or an area close by.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to maintain discipline in a classroom setting and ensure the safety of all children.
  • It is essential to be an excellent timekeeper and reliable.
  • Must be willing to be Garda vetted
  • Fluent English essential.
  • Take photos & videos for KidCREATE to showcase the arts and crafts in class.
    This role will be suited to a kind and friendly person who is enthusiastic about working with children. They will need to be confident to lead a class on their own.
