Athena Coding is a premier afterschool enrichment company, seeking enthusiastic instructors to teach Filmmaking classes for kids ages 7-14. Classes take place at local schools and generally run for 1-2 hours per day, potentially 1-5 days per week. We supply all class materials, equipment and a structured curriculum to support your teaching.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a classroom of 10-20 children while making sure they’re safe, secure, and having a ton of fun.
• Teach filmmaking in a fun exploratory way with the provided lesson plan; no need to be an expert.

We’re looking for someone with:

• An upbeat, empathetic, and energetic character.
• A passion for working with children.
• Interest in film, video or media production is a plus.
