Description

ASA is expanding our team and seeking passionate, professional coaches to deliver high-quality kids’ programs in martial arts, jiu-jitsu, and gymnastics. Our programs are built on discipline, respect, and fun — helping kids grow in confidence and character while developing lifelong skills.

Role Responsibilities

  • Teach structured classes for children aged 3–10 in martial arts/jiu-jitsu or gymnastics.
  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons with a strong focus on safety, skill development, and enjoyment.
  • Build positive relationships with students and parents while maintaining professional standards.
  • Work within ASA’s coaching framework, ensuring classes align with our values of respect, discipline, and community.
  • Assist with warm-ups, games, drills, and obstacle courses designed to keep kids motivated and learning.

Requirements

  • Previous experience teaching or coaching children (essential).
  • Strong background in martial arts / jiu-jitsu or gymnastics.
  • Passion for working with kids and the ability to manage groups aged 3–10 in a positive and structured way.
  • Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
