Eligibility Criteria 1. Excellent Academic Achievements: A minimum of 8As (A and A+ only) obtained in the recent SPM along with CEFR. 2. Strong leadership qualities, proven teamwork capabilities, outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities and exceptional interpersonal skills. 3. Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen and not exceeding 19 years of age on 1 July 2026. What’s Next? 1. Once awarded, scholarship recipients will begin their studies with pre‑university programmes at BNM’s approved pre-university colleges.  2. The scholarship provides comprehensive support, including tuition fees, subsistence allowance and other related allowances. 3. Progression to an undergraduate programme is subject to scholars meeting the requirements set by the Bank under the Kijang Undergraduate Programme. 4. Upon successful completion of their undergraduate studies, scholars will be required to fulfil their employment bond with BNM, based on a ratio of one year of study to two years of service. Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for further assessments.
Responsibilities
Scholarship recipients will commence pre-university studies at BNM-approved colleges, followed by progression to an undergraduate program in fields like Economics, Finance, or Data Science. Upon completion of undergraduate studies, scholars are required to fulfill an employment bond with BNM.
