Kijang Undergraduate Scholarship The Kijang Undergraduate Scholarship is open to eligible individuals who have received an offer to pursue or are currently undertaking undergraduate studies one of BNM's list of approved universities [https://www.bnm.gov.my/documents/20124/1514833/Approved_Universities_for_Academic_Year_2026.pdf].  Eligibility Criteria 1. Excellent Academic Achievement: Obtain a minimum qualifying result for any of the following: * A-Level: Minimum of 3As * STPM / Diploma / Matriculation / Foundation: Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.50 * Australian Matriculation: Minimum ATAR of 85% * American Foundation Program: Minimum SAT score of 1,500 * International Baccalaureate (IB): 38 points 2. For candidates currently enrolled in an undergraduate programme, a minimum academic standing of CGPA 3.50, Second Class Upper (2:1) or a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 75% is required. 3. SPM: Minimum of 5 credits including Bahasa Melayu, English and Mathematics. 4. Strong leadership qualities, proven teamwork capabilities, outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities and exceptional interpersonal skills. 5. Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen and not exceeding 22 years of age on 1 July 2026. What’s Next? 1. The scholarship provides comprehensive support, including tuition fees, subsistence allowance and other related allowances. 2. Upon successful completion of their undergraduate studies, scholars will be required to fulfil their employment bond with BNM, based on a ratio of one year of study to two years of service. Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for further assessments.
Responsibilities
Scholars are expected to pursue undergraduate studies at approved universities and participate in structured internships during summer breaks. Upon graduation, they must fulfill an employment bond with Bank Negara Malaysia based on a ratio of one year of study to two years of service.
