Description

We are looking for a Kindergarten English Teacher for a bilingual kindergarten in Shanghai. This position is starting from the upcoming 2026/27 school year in mid-late August 2026. About the kindergarten This bilingual kindergarten in Shanghai offers an early years learning environment that combines bilingual education, Montessori-inspired mathematics, nature-based learning, arts, physical education, and healthy life education. The kindergarten follows a self-developed curriculum that supports children’s leadership, logical thinking, language development, creativity, and physical growth. With forward-looking teaching concepts, diverse activities, and a professional teaching team, the kindergarten is committed to helping children explore the world with confidence, curiosity, and joy. Job responsibilities Together with teaching assistants, support the children in their learning‐journey from Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. During this time, you will: Teach daily class activities to kindergarten students aged 2.5-6, creating an English learning environment Lesson planning, daily classroom management and classroom activities organization Utilize games, music, books, art, technology and other resources to teach basic skills and foster children development Collaborate with other teachers, instructors, and staff members to create an optimal learning care environment, and an appropriate classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Help children meet educational milestones through personalized instruction and assess each child’s performance and progress on regular basis At least 1 year of early years teaching experience, with ages 3–4 preferred Outgoing, energetic, and engaging personality Bachelor’s degree or above TEFL/TESOL/CELTA preferred Monthly salary of 25,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Summer and winter holidays Public holidays Residence and work permit sponsored by the school
