Description St. Catherine School is seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our elementary faculty. The ideal candidate will create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports early childhood learning while modeling Christian values. Requirements Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with school and state standards Foster a positive, nurturing classroom culture that supports social-emotional development Teach foundational skills in literacy, mathematics, science, religion, and social studies Integrate hands-on learning, play-based instruction, and differentiated teaching strategies Assess and monitor student progress; maintain accurate academic records Communicate effectively and regularly with parents/guardians Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to support school initiatives Participate in school liturgies, events, and professional development opportunities Maintain classroom organization, safety, and cleanliness Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (Master’s preferred) Valid state teaching certification (Early Childhood or Elementary) Experience teaching in a kindergarten or early childhood setting preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Commitment to faith-based education and willingness to support the Catholic mission of the school Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families Preferred Attributes Creative and energetic teaching style Strong organizational and planning skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Experience with technology integration in early childhood classrooms Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and education Health and retirement benefits (if applicable) Supportive and collaborative work environment Professional development opportunities
