OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kinesiologist / Clinic Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in a clinic setting. Your primary focus will be to assist patients in their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain mobility and improve their overall physical function.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent knowledge of exercise prescription/supervision.
  • The candidate will ideally have a university education with a kinesiology degree.
  • Manual therapy knowledge is an asset.
  • Personal training certification is an asset.
  • Dynamic and energetic personality with a passion for promoting health and wellness.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and empathy.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries.
  • Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, home care techniques, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and stored.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • You’ll be the bridge between patients, their families, funders, finance, and other employees.
  • Receiving and managing inbound telephone calls and email inquiries related to service
  • Performing other administrative duties
  • Other duties as required
