Mackenzie Medical Rehabilitation Centre is a practitioner owned clinic with thirteen locations across the GTA. We specialize in the treatment of motor vehicle accident injuries, WSIB injuries, slip-and-fall, and long-term care. We are looking for a part-time Kinesiologist/PTA to join our Barrie team Monday/Thursday 10-7pm, and Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 10-6pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the assessment of clients, establishment and ongoing evaluation of treatment programs including job coaching, goal setting, work hardening and return to work programs.
  • Responsible for completing ergonomic assessments and job demands analyses as requested.
  • Maintains accurate clinical records according to standards set by the College. Documents assessment results, goals, treatment, client progress and discharge plans.
  • Collaborates with other members of the health team as needed.
  • Communicates pertinent information and recommendations to clients/care providers and provides education regarding treatment strategies as needed.
