JOB DESCRIPTIONS

ACME Education is currently seeking experienced Kinesiology Tutors to provide one-on-one instruction. As a Kinesiology tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with students , providing individualized instruction and helping them develop a deep understanding of these important subjects.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring for UofT Kinesiology courses (e.g., KPE160H1 – Fundamentals of Human Movement, KPE162H1 – Physical Activity and Healthy Lifestyles, ANA126H1 – Human Anatomy, etc.)
  • Develop personalized study plans to help students master key concepts and improve academic performance
  • Explain course content, assignments, lab work, and exam preparation strategies
  • Guide students in research projects, lab reports, and data analysis where applicable
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Human Physiology, or related field (PhD preferred)
  • Strong familiarity with the University of Toronto Kinesiology program and grading standards
  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience at the university level
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
  • Patient, organized, and able to inspire student motivation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate or former faculty member from UofT’s Kinesiology program
  • Research experience or involvement in sports science projects
  • Ability to support students with lab design, statistics, and academic writing

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
