Job Title: Project Manager Grade: D (Assistant Manager) Team: KGS KIP Team (Advisory Technology) Location: Bangalore/Gurugram Experience: 7-10 years Role Summary: As a Project Manager, you will be a key driver in delivering strategic technology and business change initiatives across KPMG. This role demands robust project management expertise, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, to specified quality standards, and in strict adherence to KPMG's governance frameworks. Key Responsibilities : Lead the end-to-end management of projects, or significant workstreams within larger programmes, applying appropriate project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, and budget. Monitor and control project progress rigorously, identifying deviations, managing dependencies, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Be responsible for providing clear, concise, and accurate weekly project status reports to the Portfolio Lead, detailing progress, forecasts, and critical path items. Track project risks and issues, working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Ensure timely escalation of critical risks and issues, providing well-reasoned analysis and proposed solutions. Ensure stringent adherence to KPMG's internal policies, procedures, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Forecast, monitor, and manage project budgets, including resource utilisation, time, and associated costs, to ensure financial objectives are met and value is delivered. Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with diverse project stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, external vendors, and steering committees. Manage stakeholder expectations effectively, ensuring consistent and transparent communication to foster alignment and engagement. Create and maintain essential project documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and accessibility for all relevant parties.
