Job Description Directly reporting to the Inventory Lead, this position helps to ensure that the location maintains accurate stock levels, allowing us to provide our customers with a steady rate of service. They are responsible for checking in stock from deliveries, performing stock adjustments, and handling returns. This position plays a critical role in making sure the store is staged, stocked, and ready to serve. Also required to assist customers who are looking for in-store items. This is a Full-Time job working 40 hours per week! Store Hours are Monday - Friday from 6:55am - 6:05pm, Saturday from 7:55am - 5:05pm. The current available schedule(s) are: M - F 8:00am - 5:00pm Qualifications Employees must possess the ability to perform the following duties: Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Counting stock and completing inventory counts Running stock checks Investigating stock discrepancies Organizing and managing vendor Credit-notes; Including tagging and staging Managing cull-piles for credit or field destroy Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices Conduct oneself in a manner consistent with Dunn Lumber’s core values Other duties as assigned To perform this job successfully, applicants should have competent typing skills, proficiency in general computer operations, possess a positive and collaborative attitude and must be able to lift/push materials up to 40 LBS throughout the shift. Additional Information Training This is an entry-level position with a paid two-week training period and continued learning while employed. The two-week training is completed on-site with a Trainer either in Bellevue or Shoreline. The training for this position will focus on product knowledge and Point of Sale software. *Training hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and is required. This position is in a yard/retail environment. This position is largely active and requires employees to be on their feet for most of the shift. The noise level is moderate to loud.
