O’Brien Group Australia is seeking a highly organised and motivated Kitchen Administrator to support our culinary team at Suncorp Stadium and streamline critical functions behind the scenes. This newly created role is designed to enhance the efficiency of both Back of House (BOH) and Front of House (FOH) operations on event and game days.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, the Kitchen Administrator will coordinate catering logistics, manage kitchen rosters, maintain essential compliance records, and ensure all event documentation is complete and accurate. This role is central to improving workflow and communication across departments, playing a key part in delivering high-quality service for major events at one of Australia’s most iconic stadiums.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in post-event reporting and filing, ensuring all documentation is completed and distributed to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate satellite catering requirements for teams, media, and hirers, ensuring all information is accurately entered into USI and delivered according to schedule.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure all catering and operational needs are met.
  • Manage kitchen rostering: entering shifts into Inzenius, booking agency staff, and overseeing staff check-ins on event days.
  • Prepare and update game day folders with service kitchen info, dietary requirements, HACCP documentation, and menu photos.
