Description Blessed Trinity Angels in Arms Early Learning Center is looking for a dynamic employee to work in our learning center's kitchen to help prepare meals for our 200 plus children in our care. This individual will work closely with our kitchen manager and assist where needed. The kitchen aid worker will also cover teachers breaks and cover classrooms that children are in. The hours are approximately 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Requirements Monitoring the condition of the facility and maintaining cleanliness by sweeping floors and wiping surfaces. Washing dishes and putting away. Maintaining food stocks, preparing food items for storage. Weighing and measuring students’ lunch portions to ensure that they meet federal nutrition guidelines. Preparing and serving hot meals to all children that are appropriate for their age level. Assist the kitchen manager to help the kitchen run smoothly and serving food items. Cover in the kitchen manager's absence. Performs other related duties. Must take 45-hour DCF training, plus other training required through the Early Learning Coalition.
Responsibilities
The kitchen aid will assist in preparing and serving meals for over 200 children while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food stock. Additionally, the role involves covering teacher breaks and supervising classrooms as needed.
