In this role, you will: Create compelling and functional designs: Use 20/20 to develop detailed kitchen and bath designs, space plans, and product specifications that bring customer visions to life while meeting functional requirements and budget parameters Conduct comprehensive consultations: Meet with homeowners, designers, builders, and contractors to understand their project scope, design preferences, budget constraints, and timelines, offering expert recommendations on cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and hardware Develop detailed project proposals: Generate quotes and proposals for kitchen and bath projects ranging from single vanity installations to complete whole-house renovations, ensuring all specifications and pricing are clearly communicated Manage projects from design to installation: Oversee the entire customer journey, coordinating with vendors, tracking orders, communicating with installers, and ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction throughout the install process Build and cultivate trade relationships: Develop strong partnerships with builders, remodelers, interior designers, and architects to create a foundation of recurring business and referrals, serving as their trusted kitchen and bath expert Maintain product expertise: Stay current on the latest trends in kitchen and bath design, product innovations, and industry best practices to offer informed, cutting-edge advice to customers Achieve sales targets: Strive to meet or exceed sales goals through effective design presentations, relationship building, and exceptional customer service that generates repeat business and referrals Collaborate across teams: Work closely with our flooring sales team, customer care, finance, warehouse, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and integrated design solutions across product categories Qualifications Design expertise: 3+ years of kitchen and bath design experience with demonstrated proficiency in CAD software (20/20, Chief Architect, or similar platforms), including the ability to showcase your design portfolio Product knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of cabinetry systems, countertop materials, plumbing fixtures, and decorative hardware, with the ability to specify products for residential projects confidently Project management skills: Proven track record managing multiple kitchen and bath projects simultaneously from concept through installation, with strong attention to detail and follow-through Customer first mindset: Genuine passion for helping customers create their dream spaces, with a strong commitment to doing the right thing and exceeding expectations throughout the project lifecycle Relationship builder: Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with homeowners, trade professionals, and industry partners, with a focus on long-term collaboration Communication excellence: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present design concepts, explain technical specifications, and coordinate with diverse stakeholders throughout complex projects Proactive problem solver: Ability to anticipate customer needs and proactively look for solutions to any problems that arise Enthusiastic, professional attitude: Demonstrated can-do attitude with respect and professionalism in all interactions Collaborative team player: Self-starter who is energized by being part of team, collaborating with others across different roles and functions
