We’re seeking a Kitchen & Wellbeing Support Worker to help create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment in our mental health day program. The role involves preparing nutritious meals, overseeing kitchen operations, supporting participant wellbeing, guiding volunteers, and assisting with program activities alongside mental health support staff.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Working with Children Check & Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Food Safety Level 1 (or willing to obtain)
  • Preferred: Cert II in Hospitality or Kitchen Operations
  • Experience in community, mental health, or support settings
  • Hospitality or kitchen experience
  • Volunteer supervision experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of food safety & hygiene
  • Comfortable working with diverse backgrounds
  • Coffee machine use (training available)
  • Supportive, inclusive, and recovery-focused approac
