JOB SUMMARY

SKILLS

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, working well as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • DBS needs to be on the update service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, including washing dishes and utensils.
  • Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during food preparation and storage.
  • Help with the setup and breakdown of catering events as needed.
  • Support chefs in cooking tasks and meal preparation during busy service periods.
  • Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
