Ashbridge Independent School and Nursery is looking for an experienced and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our established catering team working alongside the Nursery Chef at Ashbridge Independent School and Nursery. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Ashbridge is looking to recruit high quality, experienced and organised Kitchen Assistant to be a part of our talented, high quality, dynamic team.

Skills and qualities that the successful candidate will have;

• 1 year experience of working in a catering setting
• Knowledge of handling allergy and dietary needs
• Organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work as part of a team, and under your own initiative
• To be able to lead the team during Chef absence
• A good understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
• Food Safety level 2 training desirable, but not essential
• A Catering qualification if desirable, but not essential
