The Role We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic part time Kitchen Assistant to join our small, kitchen team on a casual basis (10-25 hrs per week). You’ll support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team in delivering a beautiful food service to our members and event clients. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. The hourly rate is £12.60 and we are very flexible with how the hours are split across the week. We are open Mon-Fri (8am until late) but there would be occasional weekend shifts. Key Responsibilities Support food preparation under the direction of the Head Chef Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy, and compliant with food safety standards Wash, dry, and store crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment Receive and store deliveries safely and efficiently Assist with stock rotation and daily cleaning routines Ensure health & safety and hygiene regulations are followed at all times About You Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential A positive attitude and willingness to learn is a must have! Responsibilities
The Kitchen Assistant will support the Head Chef and the wider kitchen team in delivering food service to members and event clients, which includes assisting with food preparation and maintaining cleanliness.
