KITCHEN ASSISTANT – RIVERSTONE ESTATE, COLDSTREAM

Riverstone Estate is a premium Yarra Valley winery, renowned for its breathtaking views, French-style wines, and elegant dining experiences. We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering French-inspired cuisine using the finest seasonal Australian produce.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food, eager to learn, and wants to gain experience in a professional kitchen that caters to both restaurant service and premium events.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will:

• Support the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and kitchen team in preparing ingredients and mise en place.
• Assist with basic food preparation, cleaning, and organisation of the kitchen.
• Ensure that food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times.
• Help the kitchen run smoothly during restaurant service and high-volume events, including private functions.
• Work as part of a team to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
• Learn from experienced chefs and gain exposure to professional cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
