ABOUT US

Cornerstone Healthcare provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.
Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them inappropriate candidates for dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.
We currently have 3 services based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, & Mytchett with 2 new services set to open in Bristol and Birmingham in 2025

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for an experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our award-winning team at Kitnocks House. Kitnocks House, is a 63-bed service providing high quality care across 4 specialised units supporting residents with varying complex care as well as providing a comfortable and safe living environment. Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole person and their unique challenges, rather than just the diagnosis. We are currently rated Overall Good with CQC.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • To support the catering service to residents in the home
  • Prepare and set up meals and drinks
  • To clean crockery, cutlery, utensils, containers and small-scale equipment manually and through machine
  • To clean floors, work surfaces, furnishings and related equipment manually and by use of machine
  • To comply with regulations in respect of Health and Safety at work, COSHH, Environmental Health and Fire Procedures
