Dalgety Bay Care Home is a luxury, purpose built care home at the heart of the local community. Known for its first class facilities, warm atmosphere and exceptional care, our home offers all inclusive living in a modern, supportive environment.
Mealtimes are a key part of life here, and we are now looking for a committed and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team. This is your opportunity to support our chefs in creating nutritious, enjoyable meals that truly make a difference to our residents’ day.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We welcome applicants with a good work ethic, a team focused attitude and attention to detail. Previous experience in a kitchen or catering setting is helpful but not essential, as full training will be given. More than anything, we are looking for someone who takes pride in their role and enjoys being part of a team that makes a real difference.

ABOUT US:

Dalgety Bay Care Home is part of Care Concern Group, a family owned care provider with over 100 homes across the United Kingdom. We are passionate about creating a supportive, inclusive place for residents and staff alike.
Our five core values – Trust, Respect, Passion, Kindness, Inclusivity – shape everything we do. If you share these values and are ready to take on a rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
Apply now and help make every mealtime at Dalgety Bay something to look forward to

Responsibilities

As Kitchen Assistant, you will help with preparing ingredients, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and ensuring safe food handling at all times. You will also assist with receiving deliveries and maintaining stock, supporting the smooth daily running of our kitchen.
Whether you are plating up meals, wiping down surfaces or sharing a kind word with a colleague, your work will contribute to a positive environment where residents feel cared for and valued.
