JOB DESCRIPTION

Whitefield House is an exceptional residential care home, and we are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and passionate person to join our growing catering team to provide beautiful food for approx. 40 elderly residents.
Role – 10hrs to 30hrs per week on a 7 days rota basis. 10 hours per day between the hours of 08:00- 18:00.
We are looking to expand our excellent team by recruiting an experienced Kitchen Assistant. Duties to include;
· Assist cook in preparing meals for serving, taking into account dietary requirements for each resident.
· Prep deserts and plate up
· Prepare snacks/drinks trolley
· Clean dining rooms and set tables for each mealtime
· Washing up, mopping and keeping the servery clean and tidy
· Help with stock rotation and deliveries
· Deep cleaning to meet high standards required
. Must be able to step up as Cook when required
Previous care home experience will be an advantage.
