JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a kitchen assistant/delivery driver at our base kitchen in Devizes.
This position is during school term time only.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable.

• Safely operate a vehicle for the delivery of meals to various locations.
• Ensure that all food items are properly packaged and maintained at the correct temperature during transit.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and addressing any queries or concerns.
• Assist in meal preparation and food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery schedules are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies.
• Report any issues or incidents related to deliveries, including vehicle maintenance needs.
