Kitchen Assistant PART TIME

Salary: UP TO £13.41 per hour
Hours: 18 hours per week (Wednesday & Thursday one week Saturday and Sunday the next week)

THE ROLE:

We are looking for 2 Kitchen Assistants to work 18 hours per week.
To assist in the daily preparation of cooked nutritious meals for service users ensuring food is of a high quality, and to work alongside the Chef and Cook.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD INCLUDE:

• Assisting in the planning and preparation a varied choice of menus, ensuring properly balanced and nutritious meals are provided, taking into account any special dietary requirements and service user preferences.
• Assisting in ensuring that the storage, preparation and cooking of all food is carried out using the highest standards of hygiene.
• Being responsible for the storage and use of cleaning items in accordance with COSHH.
