• Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised and tidy.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure that all food is stored and handled correctly.
• Help with the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Support catering events by assisting with the setup and breakdown of food stations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, reporting any issues to senior staff.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
