Busy dynamic care home in amazing countryside setting need kitchen and support assistant for tasks including food preparation, serving, kitchen hand, prepping,
Reporting to Head Cook, this role will suit someone who is organised, can follow timetables and is keen to learn about kitchen and food preparation and hygiene.
Roles will also include helping the home in other general tasks such as checking food stocks, reporting and health and safety monitoring, answering calls, dealing with team members.
Kitchen assistant will also get a chance to assist with preparation of cakes, baking, and knowledge of special diet requirements for the elderly.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Timings: 7:00 - 17:30 / 7:00 - 12:30 / 12:00 - 5:30

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Assist the team in ordering and storing fresh food and other food supplies.
• Monitor Stock Control
• To prepare nutritional food and beverages to a high standard
• Prepare special diet meals as requested.
• Ensure timely and efficient cleaning of all dishes and utensils.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and food storage areas in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
• Implement safe working procedures.
• Maintain a clean hazard free kitchen in order to minimise risks to residents and employees of the home.
• Undertake trainings as requested.
