To maintain a clean kitchen in line with all health and safety requirements.
To make sure all the dishes are cleaned using the dishwasher/sanitiser
To assist the chefs in basic food preparation
Kitchen Assistant required for Rural Restaurant / Pub in the Heart of Cheshire.

We are a Rural Pub situated in the centre of a small village of Church Minshull, there is a wide mix of people that visit us from our local regulars, to passer-by’s and customers that have heard about us from further afield, but each and every customer must be made to feel warm and welcome.
We are proud to serve freshly cooked and prepared seasonal food.
We are looking for out-going, friendly people to join our team, previous experience is always helpful but not essential, as long as you enjoy looking after people, and have a passion for food and drink, we would like to hear from you.We’ll teach you the difference between this dish and that, we are simply looking for hard working people who are bubbly and happy and have a passion for food and drink.
To make sure the kitchen is clean and tidy at the end of a shift, this is to include brushing and mopping of floors, to make sure the dish wash area is clean and wiped down at all times with the machine emptied and clean on a daily basis.
To makes sure uniform standard are met whilst on duty.
To make sure House Rules are followed at all times.
To conform and understand food safety and health and safety aspects of a kitchen. To know and understand COSHH rules and regulations.
To make sure the kitchen is always in a clean and safe working environment for all to work in.
Full training given in Food Safety, Health & Safety and COSHH, also full training given in all and every aspect required to carry out jobs and tasks required.
Full induction given on starting the role.
Rota to be done in advance and shifts determined by the business.
Hours of work to vary between 9am and 11pm to be discussed weekly.
After the apprenticeship have been completed there is progress in to becoming a Chef, where full training can and will be given to the right candidate to progress a career in Kitchens.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
