Responsibilities
  • Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks as directed by the head chef or sous chef.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
  • Help with the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing up and cleaning utensils and equipment.
  • Support cooks during busy service periods by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking tasks.
  • Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency in food quality.
  • Participate in inventory management by helping to receive deliveries and stock supplies appropriately.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
