JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting kitchen operations, ensuring a clean and organized workspace, and assisting chefs in food preparation. EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Support chefs during meal service by delivering prepared dishes and assisting with plating.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is stored and handled correctly.
  • Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of low supplies.
  • Participate in kitchen team meetings to discuss menu items and operational improvements.
