We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Kitchen Assistant.

This isn’t your average kitchen job – you’ll be working in a truly unique environment, with the food barn which is situated between the Meerkats and Emus! While you won’t be working with the animals, you’ll be a part of an exciting setting that makes every day different. Come and join our dynamic kitchen team at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, where you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs and maintaining the smooth running of the kitchen.
You’ll be a key part of our team, helping keep everything clean, organised, and hygienic all within the exciting atmosphere of a zoo!

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring that all areas are tidy and well-stocked.
• Assist with maintaining high standards in the kiosks (that are dotted around the site).
• Dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Waste management, ensuring proper disposal and recycling protocols are followed.
• Delivering supplies to various kitchen sections and kiosks as needed.
• Stock rotation and assisting with inventory management.
• Help with basic kitchen prep tasks (training provided).
• Assist with the setup and closing of kitchen operations.
• Support chefs and front-of-house staff during peak periods.
• Ensure the storage areas (fridges, freezers, etc) remain clear and organised.
