Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of meals, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure that all food is prepared and stored safely.
  • Support chefs and cooks during busy service times by helping with various kitchen tasks as needed.
  • Participate in catering events by assisting with food preparation and presentation.
  • Help manage inventory by checking stock levels and reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
