Overview:
We are currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and maintain kitchen cleanliness to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support the kitchen team in meal preparation and cooking tasks
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
- Follow food safety standards and guidelines during food preparation
- Help with receiving and storing deliveries
- Collaborate with Kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced care home
- Strong willingness to learn and contribute to the team
- Basic culinary skills are desirable for this role
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 17 per week

• Monday to Friday
