JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and eager to learn more about the culinary arts within a care home or catering environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment, such as a restaurant or catering setting, is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.

    The position is to work Saturday and Sunday and one day during the week. Please do not apply if you can not commit to these days, hours are 8am -2pm .
    We do not have sponsorship licence so can not accommodate this.

Responsibilities

  • Support the cooking team during busy periods by providing timely assistance.
