Salary: £7.55 – £12.21 per hour (dependent on age and experience)

Puxton Park, one of Somerset’s leading family attractions, is currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to support our busy catering operations. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support our chefs in preparing food, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
• A valid Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
• Positive, can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during peak periods
