Chef | Kitchen Assistant

For Deddington ‘On The Square’

We are looking for an enthusiastic chef/kitchen assistant that loves being part of team, that can work organised and prepare dishes to order.

Our cafe menu is small but packed with lovely products, we have a set menu format of soups, stews, sandwiches, salads and cakes, daily routines of preparing dishes for breakfast, brunch and lunch.

The working hours are 07:00-17:00 - No evenings or split shifts - 5 days per week , must be available to work weekends, (but not every weekend and shorter hours on a Sunday)

We close over Christmas and New Year

5 weeks holiday per annum plus Bank holidays.

Experience is not essential but attention to detail, consistency of work, punctuality, reliability and a passion for working to a high standard within a small dedicated team is.

This position would suit a trained chef that is looking for a new challenge to their current role or a passionate good food inspired cafe culture enthusiast looking to get into the industry.

Salary is dependant on experience.
