JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading the kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation and meal service run smoothly.
This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
We will consider all applicants with previous supervisor and/or manager experience in any food and beverage roles.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm for culinary arts is key. Full training will be provided.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is preferred.
• Experience in meal preparation or working within a restaurant or catering setting will be beneficial.
• A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to food preparation and cooking.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.

  Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

• Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
• Support the cooking staff by preparing ingredients for various dishes.
• Help with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Ensure that all food items are stored correctly and labelled appropriately.
• Assist in catering events as required, contributing to a seamless dining experience for guests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
