For our major client, the German Armed Forces, we are seeking a [position title] for the field kitchen in 21337 Lüneburg, with immediate start date.

KITCHEN ASSISTANTS (m/f/d).

Your tasks include: among others

• Preparing vegetables, salad and potatoes (e.g. cleaning, peeling, cutting, etc.),
• Assistance with the preparation of all dishes,
• Operation of kitchen machines (e.g. mixers, slicers, meat grinders, bread slicers, coffee machines/machines and all-purpose machines, hot air steamers, pressure cooking),
• Serving of all food,
• Operation of the pot and container washer and the dishwasher,
• Cleaning of changing rooms, dining rooms (tables, chairs and floor surfaces), corridors and storage rooms (excluding sanitary facilities),
• Cleaning and disinfection of the entire work area and the associated equipment and supplies,
• Warehouse work, transport of foodstuffs,
• other activities as instructed by the head chef and the supervising kitchen staff.

Working hours: Mon-Thurs 7:00 am to 6:30 pm

Fri-Sun 7:00 am to 1:00 pm

The operating times describe the possible time window; the exact scheduling is done by the head chef.

Your profile:

• Kitchen experience is required (but career starters (m/f/d) are also very welcome to apply!)
• Flexibility, teamwork, and reliability are expected.
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written, are required in order to read and understand work instructions and safety regulations.

Instruction in accordance with Sections 42 and 43 of the Infection Protection Act (IfSG) or a health certificate must be available. Instruction can be provided retroactively or an older instruction can be refreshed.
