Responsibilities

This is a great opportunity for an existing Kitchen Assistant or Kitchen Porter to work in this amazing venue. Equally; younger applicants/school leavers/parents with little or no experience will be considered in line with availability, as full training will be given.
As a Kitchen Assistant you will need to be able to work safely in the kitchen in a disciplined and systematic manner, you will need a good level of physical fitness as the work can involve manual handling and is a physically demanding position in a professional kitchen environment.
You will be able to demonstrate and develop skills to be completed with the supervision of the Kitchen team, including pot washing, cleaning, handling deliveries, and following health and safety instructions and policies. You will be expected to develop and advance these skills over your time in the team.
You will be working for a management team with excellent experience who have built a reputation for high quality fresh food in previous roles, assisting with working as a team of highly skilled and motivated staff.
