WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PART-TIME KITCHEN ASSISTANT [THURSDAY - SATURDAY] TO JOIN OUR TEAM AT THE GLASSHOUSE INN, MAYHILL, LONGHOPE, GLOS, GL17 0NN.

As a Kitchen assistant you will perform basic food preparation and cooking tasks in different sections of the kitchen, supervised by our chef. Our Kitchen Assistants are there to help and support the chef to ensure the kitchen is running smoothly. This is a great way of learning every aspect of the trade, getting lots of first-hand experience, and figuring out how the different sections of a kitchen and restaurant work together. We operate a very busy kitchen, so a minimum of 1 years kitchen experience would be required for this role.
Due to the rural location, candidates must ideally be able to drive or have means of reaching the pub, as public transport can not be reliable.

As a Kitchen Assistant your role will include:

• Helping to keep the kitchen clean and tidy
• Washing up and loading dishwashers
• Emptying bins and sorting recycling
• Washing and preparing food
• Basic cooking following directions from the chef
