JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. This will cover preperation tasks and kitchen porter responsibilities.
This job can be suited to the candiate, it can be part time or full time to suit.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
• Basic understanding of food preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

• Assist in meal preparation under the guidance of chefs.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as required for dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and equipment.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled safely and hygienically.
• Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
