Position: Full-time, Immediate Start
Location: Trevose Golf Club, Constantine Bay, Cornwall
Salary: £12.50–£13.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Trevose Golf Club is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly and fast-paced kitchen team. This is a dual role, combining kitchen porter duties with commis chef responsibilities — ideal for someone looking to kickstart a culinary career. No previous experience is necessary; we provide full training on the job. All you need is a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and organised, maintaining high hygiene standards
• Complete opening and closing duties to ensure smooth daily operations
• Receive and organise deliveries, ensuring correct storage and stock rotation
• Support chefs with basic food prep, including chopping ingredients and simple cooking tasks
• Handle dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and waste disposal
• Maintain and clean kitchen tools and equipment
• Assist the kitchen team during busy service periods, keeping your section stocked and running smoothly
